Mohammad Khoshnoodi (October 20, 1948 to January 29, 2008) University of Sistan and Baluchestan Professor Mohammad Khoshnoodi, author of seven textbooks on combustion, heat transfer and engineering thermodynamics, died on January 29, 2008, Sarcheshmeh of heart stoke. He was born in Bandar Abbas, Iran. Khoshnoodi was a 1971 graduate of Abadan Institute of Technology, majoring in Petroleum and Gas Engineering. After receiving his doctorate from Imperial Collage of Science and Technology, University of London, England, 1978 he started his teaching carrier in University of Sistan and Blauchestan, Faculty of Engineering. He became a full professor in 1997. He published total of 116 papers in international and Iranian journals and conferences and awarded a prize in 1990, Book of the Year of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This prize consisting of 14 golden coins was then dedicated to 14 teachers serving in the campaign against illiteracy in Iran.
